Tokyo National Museum

Houses over 110,000 national treasures and important cultural properties. Exhibits include Jomon period earthenware, ukiyo-e, Buddhist art, and more. The building is itself a cultural property.Opened in 1909 to commemorate Emperor Taisho's marriage. Features an impressive green dome. Part of the Tokyo National Museum.

On free admission days, you can see exhibitions of national treasures at no cost. The museum has a rich collection where you can easily spend a whole day, including not only permanent but also interesting and ever-changing special exhibitions.

Special exhibition 'Cartier and Japan: MUSUBI - Dialogue about Beauty and Art' celebrating 50 years since Cartier opened its first boutique in Japan. Showcases stories connecting Cartier and Japan.
