Kaminari mon

Kaminarimon is famous as the symbol of Asakusa. The central lantern weighs about 700 kg. At night, it is lit up. The statues of Fujin and Raijin on both sides of the lantern are worth seeing. After passing through Kaminarimon, you reach Senso-ji Temple. Shopping along Nakamise-dori with many shops is also a pleasure.

The temple is great, and the shopping street on the way is substantial. Kimono rentals are available—walking and eating in kimono lets you feel a uniquely Tokyo atmosphere.
