Fatih Mosque

Fatih Camii is a notable mosque representing classic Ottoman religious architecture.

One of the largest mosques in Istanbul with associated madrassas, hospitals, baths, and libraries. Rebuilt after an earthquake; features impressive decorations, courtyard, and tombs.

Built by Fatih Sultan Mehmet, features a large dome, elegant decorations, the sultan's tomb, and a significant social complex containing various historical sections.
